Reserve Your RoomLumenrvivid occupies a late-nineteenth-century palazzo on Calle Alfonso I, two minutes' walk from the Basílica del Pilar and the Roman walls beneath Plaza de la Seo. When the building was restored in 2011, the architects chose to preserve every original limestone arch, terracotta floor tile, and carved timber ceiling rather than replace them with neutral finishes. The result is a hotel whose corridors tell a story no new build can replicate. Each corridor is lit with warm coral pendants that pick out the ochre tones of the original masonry, so arriving guests step immediately into the Aragonese colour palette they have seen in photographs but never quite felt before.

The palazzo holds a Grade-II cultural heritage listing from the Gobierno de Aragón, awarded in 2009. Guests sleep inside a protected monument — a status that shapes every renovation decision and guarantees authenticity of materials and proportion.
No two rooms share an identical floor plan. Each of the 22 rooms and suites was drawn separately by architect Pilar Abad, whose brief was to preserve the structural quirks — alcoves, vaulted ceilings, exposed brick — rather than smooth them away.
Each morning, the dining room serves bread from Panadería Garriga three streets away, olive oil from Belchite, and seasonal fruit from the Mercado Central. Breakfast runs from 07:30 to 10:30 and is included in all room rates.
